1. The service
Zawaj Match is a serious, human-led matrimonial introduction service. It is not a dating app. We do not offer swiping, instant unsolicited direct messages, or the sale of access to another person’s contact information.
2. Eligibility and truthful information
You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information, and be legally eligible to marry before an introduction is completed. You may not impersonate another person, submit someone without their knowledge and permission, harass others, or use the service for fraud, solicitation, or any unlawful purpose. Zawaj Match may reject, suspend, or remove submissions that are incomplete, misleading, unsafe, or inconsistent with these Terms.
3. Applications and approved profiles
Applying is free. Zawaj Match reviews submissions and decides whether and how a profile is approved. Approval, visibility, response times, and introductions are not guaranteed. Public or searchable profiles use a profile ID and approved non-sensitive information. Full names, phone numbers, email addresses, exact addresses, and other identifying or private information are not displayed in the directory.
4. Your profile visibility choice
Applicants choose one of three settings: Public searchable profile + photo; Anonymous searchable profile without a real photo or identifying information; or Private matchmaking only. A real photo is displayed only when the applicant expressly chooses the public-photo option and Zawaj Match approves that photo. Otherwise, a neutral silhouette or placeholder is used. Older applications are not made public under the new directory model unless Zawaj Match obtains clear new consent.
5. Introduction requests and mutual consent
The intended process is: search approved profiles, view an anonymous or specifically approved profile, request an introduction, allow the other person to review the request and requesting profile, obtain separate consent from both people, and then connect them. A paid membership, expected to be approximately $9.95 per month, permits eligible members to request introductions. Payment never reveals another person’s phone number or email and does not guarantee an introduction, response, match, relationship, or marriage.
Zawaj Match contacts the other person first. Contact information is exchanged only after both people separately agree to the specific introduction and to sharing their contact information. A person may decline or withdraw before contact details are exchanged.
6. Fees
Applying may be free and approved browsing may be available without payment. Current prices, billing periods, cancellation terms, and any refund terms will be shown before purchase. Premium private matchmaking or other optional services, if offered, are separate from directory membership.
7. Conduct and safety
Treat every person respectfully. No harassment, discrimination, threats, scams, sexual solicitation, scraping, copying profiles, background-check claims without authorization, or attempts to identify anonymous members are allowed. Members are responsible for their own decisions and personal safety. Zawaj Match may moderate, limit, or end access when needed to protect members or the service.
8. Privacy and records
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, reviewed, displayed, stored, and shared. Consent to a searchable profile is separate from consent to be contacted about an introduction and separate again from consent to share contact information with a specific person.
9. No guarantee; limitation
Compatibility and outcomes depend on individual choices and circumstances. Zawaj Match does not verify every statement or guarantee identity, background, compatibility, availability, or results. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available and Zawaj Match is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
10. Intellectual property and changes
Site content and branding belong to Zawaj Match or their respective owners and may not be copied or commercially reused without permission. We may update the service or these Terms. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date.
